i never write twice in one day, but at the moment i am compelled...
stupid fucking red sox organization not hiring grady back. apparently, one strike and you're out in boston. i think its just fantastic that now the boys are totally going to have to start over with someone else after almost all of them voiced their support for grady. i knew this was coming, but it doesn't make me any less fucking pissed. what we need is a unified ballclub, not a divorced family.
the only positive thing i heard was talk of jerry remy becoming the manager. i don't know if he has the skills. i wouldn't like to see the boston backlash that he would receive if he took a misstep. it's probably too good to be (presupposing that he can manage a team) true.
