zee weekend.
alternately crazy and relaxing.
relaxing was leaving here early on friday and going to the cape. the ride down was lovely. i played that game where i sing loudly to oldschool songs on the radio. and i admired the fall foliage. xo autumn. relaxing was going to see "mystic river" starring my sometimes boyfriend sean penn. sometimes you just have to sit back and say, "damn that boy's good!" i've decided to read the book now to fill in the gaps of the movie. so far, not bad for pop fiction.
crazy was the party on saturday night. i imbibed a hella lot of toxins, which i paid for dearly on sunday morning in the form of the worst headache ever. i soon found that if you or someone else pushes really hard on your head where it hurts, it alleviates the pain for the moment. when said hand is released, pain come back. so, in essence, one should invent some sort of helmet that puts pressure on your headache areas and we can alleviate the need for copious aspirin intake.
also, i don't like it when suspicions become revelations. sometimes it is better to remain blissfully unawares. my babygirl mary j. had it right when she proclaimed: "i'm tired of all this drama!" so am i, mary, so am i...
