dear wit's end,
i see you and i raise you these past two weeks.
it's no fun to be the deputy without anyone to deputize.
it's no fun to be doing more editing now than when i was a copyeditor.
it's no fun to bring work home with me.
it's no fun to take 15 min lunch breaks.
it's no fun to not be able to take a vacation day ever, even those i had planned before the promotion.
at least i am starting to get paid for overtime. i wonder if it will even be noticeable in my check.
there is way too much work for two people to do. i am starting to go crosseyed here.
please send reinforcements.
