two days in a row i have worn shoes that have caused people to stare at my feet when i walk by or talk about my shoes as they walk behind me or even utter "nice shoes" as they pass me. interestingly, both pairs of shoes are red. yesterday i wore my flamelike new balance sneakers. today i am wearing my red fluevog boots. i think i'll go for a triple and wear my red clogs tomorrow and see if the peeps respond to those too...the question being is it the redness or the innate coolness (tongue firmly in cheek) of said shoes that is causing such a public frenzy. honestly, if there were paparazzi outside my office waiting to snap a few shots of my boots when i leave tonight, i wouldn't be at all surprised.
uncross and breathe. i found a dress! for $20! and shoes that are so tall that i will surely fall at some point! i can't wait! is it time to get dressed for the party yet?
finally, i'm almost ready to weigh in on my "best of 2003". i needed to spend a day or so with my new cds before deciding. you can expect me to wax rhapsodic on music, books, and movies. hopefully tomorrow. good things come to those that wait...
