if you live within spitting distance of the middle east in cambridge, you should make it a point tonight to come watch the information rock the middle east downstairs. it is their virgin appearance in this notable venue, so come one come all! they go on early, either 9 or 9:30, but i tell you the joint will be packed then. following them is fred armison from SNL (i don't get it either and i'm not keeeeding!) and then the cherry on top is le savy fav. i can't think of a better way to spend a friday night that at the middle east downstairs, drinking beers, beaming at my friends' success, and wishing i was smoking a cigarette. i'll be the one in the eyepatch* due to an annoying eye ailment, so if you (fuck it, when you) come, come say hi to the pirate dranking in the corner.
*seriously, i'm thinking about an eyepatch. wwkmd? (translation: what would kate moss do? aka, the mantra for operation cuter IFE)
