it's not that i don't want to, it's just that i'm so busy lately. i think the days of everyday updating could be considered "yore". oh poo.
the videomix my friend pat sent was one of the greatest gifts i've ever received in my life. so varied and hilarious and cool and watchable, i was so sad when it was over because i'll never watch it again for the first time. embarassing college footage of myself (literally drunk at graduation talking to the camera) made it in, so did snippets of old friends too. this mixed with amazing and fantastic live and/or video footage. i don't even know what's my favorite, the old nirvana stuff? elvis at the end of his life singing "unchained melody"? the yo la tengo video with mr. show? c.1970s van halen? don't make decide because i won't. just know you should try and get me to invite you over so YOU can watch it for the first time, there's something for everyone...
last night i saw "in america", so i can cross that off my oscar to-do list. it was a three-hanky picture. i highly recommend it.
tonight...the haircut. i'm going for a swoopy bangy thingie in front. i have pictures so i won't have to say "swoopy bangy thingie" to my stylist. it's hard to describe but is influence by debbie harry and liv tyler and the girl from royal trux. fingers crossed that i don't end up looking like the guy i saw at the information show last friday...
the rest of the week has filled up nicely. i have drinks tomorrow night after work. friday i am squiring around my pregnant friend. saturday the pill show at the middle east, 8 bands, $9 bucks, a night peeps will be talking about for years to come. on sunday i will rest. and on monday, tatted burlesque with the suicidegirls and the dland girls. i'd be lying if i said i wasn't excited...
