weekend was good, bad and sometimes ugly. the show on saturday night was a time for many reasons. one being the fact that a 22 year old boy in one of the bands playing, shoved his tongue down my throat while i was dancing along to the information. completely unexpected and turned my drunken legs to jello for an instant. i introduced a few friends to the greatness that was the information, the good north, and the cignal. what greatness it was. in an ugly incident, i went to wave at someone and gave the finger by accident. my brain, apparently waterlogged with pre-show mango margaritas, did not fire the proper synapses causing my hand to brandish "the finger" when in actuality, i thought i was waving. the bands were joyous on saturday night, which made for such an incredible time for everyone involved. some of these bands have become like family, and frankly, it's refreshing to see.
friday night was fun. my friend actually has that pregnant glow that people talk about. it totally agrees with her. we ordered in and watched "thirteen" and "lost in translation". i had seen both before, and was struck again at just how much i love "lost in translation". i had the exact same reaction to it as i did the first time i saw it. it is wonderous and GORGEOUS and utter perfection.
tonight. i am so excited. me and redwine and bathtubmary hit the middle east for hijinks that may or may not involve nudity, tattoos, electrical tape, garters, and frilly underwear. oh yeah, and we're going to see the suicide girls burlesque show.
