breaking my self-imposed silence to make an important announcement:
it's my fucking birthday. i am 30. celebrate me.
here's the fact of the matter: it's 9.37am and i am still fucking drunk from last night (thank you em, mary, rachel and shannon!). first was book club which ruled (thank you ann!) and cupcakes (thank you lindsay!). then it was charlie's kitchen with an aborted karaoke attempt (i would've done "rio") and more toasts than you can shake a beer at. many beer flights later, i went home.
i am here at work on this 30th year of my life and although i swore (to myself) i wouldn't write in here anymore, this moment needs to be fucking marked.
bring on thai food for lunch, dinner at east coast grill (hello oysters!) with the rents, and possibly more drinks tonight.
if i keep up the pace, i can stay drunk until my party on saturday.
